I can easily switch it out later.

It's not too big compared to the place I have to put it.

It's 2 feet tall which is around the size of my desk, so I can place it next to it without a problem.

My goal is to improve it with my needs and I have a lot of plans for this year c:

Yeah, but it's just obnoxious, like I'm serious, you'll regret it. I just built a rig with a HAF case and I put it next to my computer and it was like 8" taller than it, weighed like 10lbs more and just feels like it was poorly built.

but that's just my opinion. :o

I'm a fairly tall person and I have a great office chair and a black desk.

It will look awesome.

I measured the dimensions out and it fits very nice.

i hope you know windows 7 professional is like a rip-off. home prem. or ultimate does the job.

I am also doing a build later this year aswell. Hopefully I can get a PCI-e mobo cheap (~$100) when the tech does come out.

If not I'll stick with the ASUS mobo with PCI-e 2.

I'm pretty tall too, but it's just a handicapped huge case, lol.

But whatever. :P

Home premium doesn't give you a copy of XP for old software lol.

Why the forget do you need that? 7 SP1 solved all my problems with older games (SimCity 2000 and RollerCoaster Tycoon).

It's a waste of money. Other things like Remote Desktop Connection and others can be enabled by a tweak of some sort.

By a tweak of some sort.

This is blockland forums, we're all lazy as stuff.

Still, it's a waste of money. Usually these tweaks are batch files that take literally 2 seconds to install.

I have Ultimate, but still, Home Premium is nice. Just doesn't have the things people ordinarily use. Like I rarely use RDC, and I've only used XP mode several times.

Also, what's a cheap mobo for around 100 bucks with an LGA1156? I saw some Gigabyte ones on tiger direct, but I've heard they're a really stuffty company to begin with.

i7-2600k 3.4 GHZ
EVGA Geforce 560 GTX Ti
HAF 932 coolermaster case
750 watt PSU
8GB of RAM
Windows 7 professional 64 bit OEM
1TB harddrive
DVD Drive

and a few other things.

I got all of this similar 'cept two things and it cost me half.
Anyone have any recommendations for future upgrades? I just ordered all of it's parts. Of course eventually I'll add an SSD of some kind and move all the important stuff over to it.

why is the 2600k the best thing on the 1155?
i mean its good.... but its not great speed. for the best of the best, its not that great lol

New Sandy Bridge architecture makes it way more effective than a chip with a different architecture with the same speed. Kinda like how a Celeron 3GHz isn't as good as an i5 3GHz, both running 1 core.

Anyway, good build. I'm glad to see you got a Z68 mobo.
