have you come to realise that what hiiro was initially saying was correct and "have your faith ever strayed?" sounds completely handicapped? How exactly are you taught sign language if you're deaf and blind?

Why? It's not God's responsibility to tell you if or if not God is there. There are signs throughout the world of God's Love and it is justly your choice to listen and watch or not. I'm sure God would be perfectly happy if you didn't believe, just as long as you led a Loving life and lived every moment you could. I believe that's what God wants of His or Her children.
