-random mind fail-
Yea, of course.

there's no other way to do this other than just keep mousefire(1); ing?
well, if you can get all the bricks around you, and do some sort of raycast but with the client to find the new position, then maybe

yeah because repeatedly mousefire(1); ing doesn't seem very efficient, moreso just updating the ghost brick's position based on where you're pointing every frame

maybe using the same algorithm that regular mousefire(1); uses?

I don't think we would want new members to have this feel like roblox, considering this is Blockland, also if you never try and use the normal controls you will never learn how,I think the controls are fine now we don't want to attract younger members we dont want 6 or 5 year olds playing Blockland and saying in chat :OH U SAYD A SWEAR NO SWEARING ALAUD.

Exactly my opinion. This might be easyer to learn, butwith the default move keys you can build more complex. I.e. it doesn't need direct looking at where you build.

Actually those 5-year-olds can't even chat, they had no school before.

i'll stop you there.

roblox is spawning a brick with little to no control over where it is, and then using your mouse to move it in the appropriate spot, in a very tedious manner.

blockland's positioning algorithm is tons better than roblox's, and this control scheme is much faster and easier to use than roblox's scheme.

plus, as stated before, a lot of little kids would go more to roblox than to blockland anyway since they don't know what a good game is, and by saying this you're basically implying that we don't have a bunch of little kids already

you probably don't play the game very much.

I hardly ever play roblox anymore its turned into crap with all the new stuff they call "better"

i meant blockland.

Why don't you guys stop arguing about it and try to get this finished it can be actually cool. Also this (I think) will never get default so those new people won't find it because they don't even know there's a forum...

Roblox didn't turn into crap. It was always stupid and will always be stupid. It's a game for little dumb kids with poor chatfilters and random bans for people who did nothing. Also mention this crap they call 'gear'.

2007 Roblox was cool it then turned into stuff in 2008 or I thing 2009.
