Good, now if someone could package it into a playertype with RTB prefs? (Having no knowledge whatsoever of torquescript I am unable to do this myself.)

The animations should have a nice GUI to shift out custom animations.
If that can be done..

As far as I know, custom animations aren't possible unless you make your own model, but I haven't had looked into it since v8 or v9, so I might be mistaken.

alright then, my statement is irrelevant.

The playertype shouldn't be that hard to make, just put some boxes in the RTB preferences GUI and have them write the jumpheight/movement speed/zombie target values for the playertype or something like that.

That's amazing! Shame its not Milkshape supported though.

Ill look into it later..when I feel like relearning how to animate on a whole new program..

Last bump, then I'll let this die.

It's preference, not prefrence. This has been bothering me for a while

Sorry, fixed. The Firefox spellchecker wasn't catching the title.

Ive always dreamt of a playertype where animations could be easily swapped out with custom ones.
ive always dreamt of devs who add cool content (helis, boats, lighting, custom anims, better physics, variable brick saving, better hitboxes, better audio, instant disappear bricks, elevator support, dynamic variables) without cutting features to add them.

this is pretty possible, but kind of hacky

You cannot change animations within a datablock. The animations list and their names need to be set once the datablock is created.

I'm pretty sure this can't be done for the same reason vehicles can't have variable speed.
Oh, they can.
