i dont see why there needs to be a topic about this though, if a game goes free for a period of time just make a topic dedicated to the discussion of THAT game instead of a topic for multiple games.

I'm with Copblock. Free game deals are so rare it's better to have their own threads so people are more likely to see them, then one thread that is only bumped once every five months (And no one will remember).

I honestly don't think it's a good idea to have a new topic for every game with a deal running. If this topic runs, I'll get email notifications on it because I want to know about all of it.

im for free giveaway threads. but they are only useful if the OP is extremely active and updates everyone's find.
and for many things that are only 1 day, we cant trust the OP to always be there and ready to do it.
