I was once going to make a series of chambers that didn't require the portal gun. The first one was nearly impossible to complete because of the 3 turrets.

the only issue with the puzzle creator is that you can't add world portals with it

I could easily learn how to use it, but I like the design of Portal 2's inbuilt editor a lot. It's what keeps me motivated when I make levels.
