It's probably strep based on the symptoms you're describing. You need to go to a doctor and get antibiotics though because if left untreated, you can develop strep kidney.

That's not actually what it's called, but it's a kidney disorder, so it's much more worth it to just get a doctor's appointment.

Sorry for the bump, but I went to the doctor and it's only a viral infection. Over the counter meds (probably stuff like Mucinex) will help.
