Author Topic: i overthink and overworry about stuff i see in movies  (Read 1315 times)

If I only watch half of a horror movie, or if the horror movie has a cliffhanger, then I'll most likely have nightmares.
My mind just needs to see "oh look the thing is over"
I haven't watched any modern horror movies, but still, it's a movie

i got sad in the pianist where the german officer is asking for the pianist because he saved him
he was a good national socialist

I know, and I will realize that. Its just part of my mind that does that

i have op's problem sometimes
like when i saw the GTA 5 torture scene on youtube
it is possible, but unlikely. so it gets me worried lol.
but think- why would someone do that to you?

The only problem with me watching movies is when I watch them again.  I know what is going to happen and I always imagine what "If so and so would happen, then this could happen, and the movie would be better/worse."

you should watch the poughkeepsie tapes, OP

sometimes if i wear a pair of shoes for too long, i start to feel bad for my other pair, and have to take the original ones off, tell them why i need to wear the other ones, then wear the other ones

ive been doing that for a very long time lol

Im like that when I see sad stuff
my feels

whenever old people are going slow in front of me I just turn up my subs really loud and then they speed up because they can hear bass so well

its like spurring a horse

Yes, I have the same problem I watch movies like that. It took a few weeks for me to recover from seeing Star Trek Into Darkness.
