Author Topic: my internet has been extremely unresponsive lately.  (Read 1689 times)

obviously you are correct, what im saying is you clearly understood what i meant, as will most people who know a thing or two about internet connections
That was only because a. I know what they are and b. you gave definitions for what you thought they were as context clues. Funnily enough, the context is you trying to explain what each one is, and in being wrong you give total misinformation. =

a common practice abbreviation
I have never before seen someone try to say that "mbps" and "mb/s" are different things.

type into google mbps to mb/s

if google, a non-human search engine that doesnt have human level logic and problem solving skills, can figure out what you mean then I'm fairly sure that most people on this forums can.

again ive already said a few times now that youre totally right, and i still dont understand why youre trying to pursue an argument.  im just explaining to you the logic i had behind posting what i originally had.  what do you expect to happen here?  youre already right and we both acknowledge that, sorry but you continuing the argument is not going to revert time and fix my initial 'error'

idk why but for the past 2 months my internet has been very very uncooperative. I mean it's always been a teeny slow (thats because my isp is trash) but this time i get constant lags in-game and every hour or so I get complete cut off from internet and can't access any online. idk if im being dos'd or anything (i dont know much about how that works so correct me if im wrong) or if its just cause my internet has gotten slower which i doubt it is so because it shouldn't cut me off from the internet completely.
I've been getting this for 2 and a half years.

Ohhh yeah i've been using your internet again trogtor :/
Also there's like 3 classes here, and they all have their school ipads and i told them your wi-fi password...

Routers can overheat? What would even cause that?
I'm really not sure :(

im not so alone after all... :'-)

except my internet works fab when it isn't disconnected.

Why don't you try pinging your router over the LAN? That would determine if overheating or poor cables are responsible. I highly doubt it, but just try.

so when is this gonna turn into a speedtest thread?

how does the internet come into your house?
