ill never understand how someone can play a game for literally hundreds of hours (with 16 hours alone this week!) and then not recommend the game
like, clearly you enjoy the game if your play time on steam alone is any indication of that, so dont give tell us that you don't like or recommend the game because you think that the small development team isn't working as fast as you want

It's just incredibly rude to the developers when you've paid them such a meagre amount several years ago and then benefited from owning their product for years, and to then turn around and say you wouldn't recommend it to others.


And what is with the whole issue with the rate of development?
This game has been regularly developed for almost a decade and it's blossomed into a very lovely and clearly thoroughly enjoyable game. How can anyone not see it as being a finished game? Any new features really are just icing on the cake. And there's enough cake here to keep you happy without it.

Still don't think it's fair to not say a game is worthwile if you've spent 15+ whole days playing it.

I purchased a stuff game the other day not worth buying and I played it for 30 minutes.
Whatever your gripes with the developer or whatnot, for a finished game that you've played for 375 total hours I don't see how it's possible to not recommend it as a game.

I still enjoy the game, like I pointed out in the review.
However though, I wouldn't buy it now, considering the price, and how much the quality of the game has degraded from earlier times (again, not saying I don't like it, just not as good/valuable as before).
EDIT: I forgot to note that I have been playing for way more than just 15 whole days. I've had the game for years, and have one of the lower BL_IDs (26296).

The price is like ridiculously cheap though, and you can't deny that you've gotten literal weeks worth of play out of it.
How is that not recommendable?

The quality of the game, which I assume you entirely mean to be the servers and Add-Ons is certainly not the fault of the game.
How can you blame Blockland if you don't enjoy the servers that other people are making? Surely this is your own issue for not enjoying what other people make or not making your own servers? It is a sandbox game. You do have to put at least a little bit in to enjoy yourself.

im sorry but i havent seen any decline in the server's quality
i mean back when i joined the server list was a rp clusterforget, and looking at the server list now, there are some really good ones.

 So why wont you recommend the game for the amount of time you put into it? You can't say that the quality's declined when you spent 375 hours on steam alone plus so many more offline.

 The price went down, and the only thing to change in the game itself was maps. And that clearly isnt the problem because you put 375 hours into a mapless blockland.
