link was always pretty effeminate anyways. so a change would hardly be noticed.
link never really "got" zelda anyway. so the hero could really be anyone.

Didn't someone at Nintendo also say that it "may or may not have been Link" in the Hyrule Warriors trailer at E3? I haven't been keeping up with it so I'm not sure if the true meaning of that was ever discovered but it seems to fit with this

no that was for the actual upcoming legend of zelda game for wii u, this is just a spin-off based on dynasty warriors

i wasn't exactly fond of it simply because i felt like i'd rather be playing castlevania or metroid
it isn't that bad but its easy to see why people wouldn't like it
