Author Topic: "Roar" Item  (Read 4144 times)

I think it would be cool to have an item that, after you charge if up like the spear, a roaring sound would play. It would be good for fnaf rps the dragon mods and the dinosaur bots.

also maybe players close enough would get their screen shaken idk

Heh.
We never really worked it completely out, but Army and i had an idea very similar to this.
I even had a prototype roar item, but i broke it.
Not that it did much anyway, just played a sound.

A mega phone gun would be cool.
Works like a pyro airblast.

what would be interesting was if it worked like kirby's mic ability, but instead of straight-up killing anyone nearby the player the megaphone first freezes, then does low (like, 5) damage and knockback to anyone nearby; the idea being that you'd use it when fighting really fast enemies or really maneuverable enemies you can't see in order to slow them down long enough to attack with another weapon

With epic AOE damage and a shaking screen!

Could do the job.
Just change the name and sound and you got yourself a "roar" item.

The laziness is strong with this one.

No but see:

==> This says nothing about launching enemies with a direction-based weapon.

==> Pretty clearly an AOE weapon.

it would be acceptable if the projectile was removed, making it non lethal and just the roar

(but AoE pls)

Why not make a Roar Emote instead of making an item...

/roar   ?

A valid point!
I think this is a much better idea.

Yea, i agree with that.

Naw, it needs to be strategical somehow.

Also if it derived sounds from like a few, instead of just having one roar sound.
