Driving looks hard. I dun wanna drive :(

No your right, what you are seeing is the one lane exit off the road-a-bout, the actual round-a-bout is behind me, not in picture.

Ahhh is that Prius on the roundabout?

Yea, he is entering it.

Come to New Jersey, they're everywhere!
Not where I live. Only saw one near me. What part do you live in?

So my dad took it to the shop and apparently the axle is bent.

A bent axle isn't anything too serious.
While it still needs to be repaired, way worse things couldve happened from smacking that tire on the lamppost.

I would also be freaked if I was about to hit a pole-
- head phone.

I meant head on, between me jittering from almost wrecking my ass and thr stupid autocorrect on my school laptop (still have not turned it off because of laziness) "head on" became headphone.

Little bit of an update here, the cost between getting a new rim, tires, and repairing the tie rods; it will cost $800.

Well forget me. Also it was not the axle, it was the tie-rods. I know very little about cars so I got it confused when he was talking.

2 lane roundabouts dont need to exist. 1 is fine XD

if not everyone can use em right, then no one should do it lol

the town my mom grew up in recently built 3 roundabouts in a straight line so you have to go through them to get anywhere.

2 lane roundabouts are great when people know how to use them. There's a large college by my house and the roads over by college used to be so congested until they added like five two-lane roundabouts. Traffic is so smooth over there now. I've had a few close calls with handicaps in them though.

There's a roundabout near me that really shouldn't exist. It has three roads connected to it, with one of them going directly onto Interstate 55. Like seriously, you enter that small connector road to I-55, drive about 30 yards, and you are right smack in the middle of a 70mph limit interstate.

I got images of it off of Google Maps.

Here's the road connecting to the interstate. Not much acceleration room here.

The tie rod is connected to the steering knuckle, which contains the hub, which is what your wheel connects to.  If you are turning and the rear part of your wheel gets hit it is very likely that a tie rod will bend or break.  Also, unless that wheel is like $650, you are overpaying for the rest of the repairs.
