Show him that while you don't necessarily agree with homoloveuality, you accept him for who he is.

It's alright to think homoloveuality is weird or gross; you're entitled to your own opinions, that doesn't make you a bad person.

I don't know the guy, but if he's coming out of the closet to you, he must trust you on some level. If you're honest while still letting him know that you're cool with it, I'm sure he'll understand.
