little late, but this runs fine on a GT640 if you can deal with FPS being ~30-50
although that was on linux, it'll probably be lower on windows

for the replacing shaders problem install this mod:

then replace the soft shader files from the download here from the ones that you downloaded from that link

I've used that while using the new shader file, and it didn't work
