Author Topic: LA Cops shoot unarmed guy in the face  (Read 3034 times)

"Police shoot man after he points concealed hand at them and doesn't respond to orders" could also be the title. It would be completely true as well, but lead people away from the idea that this was random execution.

i think that too long for a title...

well sorry to break it to ya but im p sure that's not how news organizations do their thing

Exactly. And I can't blame them, because it gets attention. Like I said, nobody wants to hear about how a local officer helped out at my school play. But everyone would want to read about him shooting some kid for pulling his hands out of his pants quickly or holding a toy gun etc.

Yeah, its really sad how most news sources these days are so one-sided and sensationalist. In my opinion you can't even call that news, it's more like propaganda.

Something funny I ought to share: My parents watch Fox News and I always notice that every story I hear on there is always something I heard about prior a day or a week before on the Blockland Forums. It's kinda funny. Sometimes it almost seems like Fox must have employees which exclusively browse BLF to get their stories to report.

I'll wait for the body camera footage.

A felony isn't "nothing", even if it wasnt directly connected to the shooting. People who believe in karma or fate would perhaps say he had it coming for him, if he'd just committed a crime.
This isn't how society works, and regardless there's no evidence that this guy even had a felony record.

Because cops are civil servants and putting "Police officer helps elderly person cross the street" would be the same as "Engineer builds strong bridge." People don't get media attention for doing what's expected of them.
