Looking for DayZ players.

Does anyone play DayZ Standalone? I like being by myself and all but it's dangerous when facing gangs and clans of bandits. Anyone want to play?

it's been out for over a year and yet it's still hilariously unoptimized and broken

quite frustrating gameplay otherwise - look for gear for 10 hours and then get teleported into the sky by a hacker, or teleported to You are dead by some friend with a mosin

This post isn't for your complaints or reasons for not playing anymore. It's as the title states "looking for dayz players" (to play with). If it's taking you ten hours to find gear there's something wrong with you, not the game. Finally, as for the "hilariously unoptimized part" the game is in alpha, I don't understand how you expect a game in such an early stage to be perfect .

there's something wrong with me because gear doesn't respawn until the server restarts and as a result i can either A: run into a town with lots of gear spawns and get shot or B: go to low pop areas that have already been looted and thus have jack stuff? are you handicapped?

also, don't pull the alpha excuse. the game has been out since late 2013 and at this point i don't think it's ever going to leave alpha. there is a whole list of issues with this game that the devs simply don't feel like fixing that i could bring up but i don't feel like it considering you're dumb enough to go "alpher" instead of justifying it being an alpha for this long. the head dev has abandoned it, too.

Am I handicapped? Are you handicapped? You do know there is a reason you are being shot and I guarentee its for running blindly through open fields and streets. This game requires common sense which you are obviously lacking, blaming the game for you getting shot is absurd. The head dev also for your information has not abandoned it. Excuse me, does the title say "looking for an argument about dayz" ? No it certainly does not. I suggest you take your negative attitude elsewhere, maybe to the drama section , perhaps?

i seriously doubt anyone here will want to play that garbage, just get the arma 2 mod
also this is a forum where anyone can talk about what they want, if you're going to make a post about dayz, expect people to talk about dayz

it's basically standalone but with more content and also it isn't a completely broken POS

right because walking inside of a house and then being shot by someone sitting in it is totally because of the fact that i was being too unobservant

literally the only way to completely avoid being shot is to avoid high pop areas and be cautious in low pop areas, which is exactly what i do and exactly why it takes a long time for me to find loot

The head dev also for your information has not abandoned it.

the reason i'm complaining is so the few who havent learned of this game's BS find this thread and instead of just seeing "oh people cooperate cool i might get this game" they see "oh wow this game is broken i won't make the mistake of spending 35 dollars on it"
