Author Topic: so why does my phone go to 2g every time I leave a city  (Read 1391 times)

they [LG] mailed it but i called them because the phone had failed me. they told me to send them the warranty and they will cover it. i called back later and they said it was fraudulent and said tough stuff.

These are literally the definition of "stuffty cell phone"

It really is not a surprise you are having issues, it's amazing it's even made it this far.

EDIT:  Typically if you bought a warranty through AT&T, then it's not LG's problem, it's AT&T's
honestly the reason it made it this far is because I don't try to push it to its limits because I honestly don't ask much from it.
in cities I don't have issues at all.

also stufflord and hillbill do you have the T-Mobile lte phone compatibility list? I don't think either of those 2 phones are compatible but idk because I'm on 2g internet and that's too slow to check

and you didnt show them the receipt from AT&T that you bought the warranty, and didnt direct them to AT&T?

like i said, for the phone to support 4g lte with t-mobile, your phone has to support band 4 and 1700/2100 MHz

and you didnt show them the receipt from AT&T that you bought the warranty, or didnt direct them to AT&T?

i didn't get a receipt from at&t because they said lg warranties don't go with the at&t company.

then its AT&Ts fault because they didnt register it properly with LG
they must have some record that you bought the warranty with them

i didn't even try to because they told me when i bought the warranty they they don't issue the warranties, lg does.

you bought it through AT&T though, if it didn't go through its their fault, not LG

www.t-mobile.com/coverage.htmlso I entered a city so I got 4g to actually enter thatas it turns out they're using special towers for these areas (try entering interstate 40 on it and click on a lte area while not near a city) which means only newer T-Mobile phones (hint: not mine) actually get lte.well time to buy a new phone.

if you click certain areas you'll see a part in the bubble that pops up about it being T-Mobile new towers or something and you click more info there should be a list of compatible phones

Edit: got 4g and the link since I entered a city
