Well my thoughts have already been expressed by most others here. It is technically discrimination to want to date only white people or from within your own ethnic or racial group, but you also exhibit discrimination by not loving literally every living and nonliving thing you come across. You make a discriminatory choice by choosing to have a ham over turkey sandwich. It is not an inherently bad or evil concept.

discrimination in this sense is just the action people actually take out of prejudice. it just means that something unfairly targets or excludes people categorically

i guess by that definition, discrimination exists only out of bigotry. so the question "is this discriminatory" just kinda sends us in a circle. if it isn't tribal, it isn't discriminatory. maybe it's exclusive, but that doesn't necessarily imply the existence of a prejudice.

In the end discrimination and racism all happens in your brain because you see something different on a person, this could be anything from the look of their face to skin colour.
You could be the kindest person on the planet but you still will see someone who looks different to you and you will notice that, and you may think differently of a person because of that.
