The PS2 was an amazing console at the time but when you come back to it, it really lacks a lot of nice features.

The current gen consoles are more like multimedia hubs, combining Internet, DVD/Blu-Ray, gaming and other functionality into a convenient box that requires very little setup or maintenance. That's why there's a strong market for consoles, because otherwise you might as well just buy a PC with Windows 10 and turn on touchscreen mode.

Sure, I loved the PS1 and PS2 both when they were all I had, but I think it's really a contest between the PS3 and PS4. The PS3, if you ignore technical capability, is a little outdated now in terms of multimedia features, but it's still a worth machine.

I can't vote until I get my PS4, though. I've only handled developer kits, and they're a bit different to a standard PS4.

I saw some fire emblem on 3DS commercial and the gameplay they showed on that game was bad. The graphics looked just as bad as PS1 graphics.

At least the Vita is about the same as a PS3 in terms of graphics. Why hasn't the vita caught on? I've had people come up to me and say that for a handheld device it has the best graphics they've seen.

Fire Emblem definitely wouldn't be best way to guage the graphics of the 3DS. It doesn't look that good, but I sure wouldn't call it on the same level as PS1 graphics especially when considering how much better it looks when it's not being blown up onto a large tv screen.

As for the Vita there's probably multiple factors that lead to where it is today, but I'm not the type of person to talk about them. That said the memory card stuff was definitely a really dumb decision on Sony's part.

No, PSVita was the best for me, that or number 2, because I haven't fully played 3.

i've played 1 through 3 and karting -- i have to say 2 is the best because it has the most content and a really good story
3 has a pretty okay story but it feels more like they were less trying to tell a story and more trying to integrate the new features as much as possible. it was actually kind of underwhelming.

Yeah, honestly that villain who you think is the good guy at the start can actually be found to be the bad guy on the back of the box, as it says he is evil.

Also LBP karting track making is the worst, you have to make linear tracks usually, I tried to make a sort of maze track but then the map ruins it and if you do it perfectly you can finish it 10x faster.
