Author Topic: Blockland Crash when Enabling Fullscreen  (Read 918 times)

Heyo,

So I recently decided to start up Blockland after a while of not playing it. Because of that, I had to reinstall the game through Steam since I uninstalled it before. Before I uninstalled it, the fullscreen option worked fine. I could play in any resolution, refresh rate, or bit depth I wanted to, and Blockland would be fine with it. Since then, I've updated my graphics card's drivers (which may or may not be the problem). When I launch Blockland now and try to set it to fullscreen, no matter what resolution, refresh rate, or bit depth, the screen always turns pure gray and a crash messages appears that says, "Display Change Failed: The specific mod is not supported by this device." I haven't tried it on the standalone launcher, but if anyone knows why this is happening, that'd be great. Thanks in advance.

Are you running dual monitors by any chance?

Nope, it's the same setup as I had before I uninstalled it, and then it worked fine. I'll be getting a new monitor soon, so I'll test Blockland with that and see if it fixes it.

Sounds to me like it is indeed a driver issue.
See if there is an other update for your graphics driver.

If you have Nvidia, use Nvidia Geforce experience.
AMD probably also has a tool like that.
