Author Topic: is it ok to have 6gb ram  (Read 3254 times)

i kinda want a server board to play with. but they lack basically ALL the bells and whistles, especially overclocking, that i like in gaming hardware.

not that you should be gaming on multiple cpus anyway lol

Are you running a 32bit OS?
Because a 32bit OS can only handle 4gb. That's more likely than your motherboard only handling 4, unless it's ancient
My potato can support up to 2GB because of the motherboard lmao

I'm running 64bit, I'm sure something just went wrong with the mobo seeing as this is a second hand computer.
I used to have a 1TB HDD that stopped working properly because of the motherboard (I tried a new drive and a new PSU, so I'm assuming all these problems are motherboard related)
