Author Topic: A good gaming laptop for blockland  (Read 781 times)

Ok so I was thinking about getting a good gaming laptop, with my parents agreeing. I was only confused on one thing, what kind of laptop can I get that can run max shaders on blockland with 60 fps? So I came to you guys for answers. All I really need is a good gaming laptop that can run shaders on blockland max with 60 fps, that is under a thousand dollars. Help?

well 60fps with shadows can vary on how many bricks and stuff are in the scene, like the one i have can run mediumish stuff at 60 no problemo but things like huge-ass cities or medium things with a lot of things happening at once i may have to turn the shadows down for if i want to keep 60
like do you plan on playing with really huge builds and do you plan on wanting to play other demanding games

I have the Lenovo Y50, which can run high shaders at 60+ FPS and soft shaders at around 30 FPS. It can also run games like Fallout 4 and NBA 2k16 flawlessly on ultra graphics. You can get it for right around $1000 so it's within your budget.

A decent ASUS ROG laptop will run everything fine.
It depends of course how much you are willing to spend.

I would suggest to get a laptop with 2 hard drive bays so you can stick a fast SSD for your windows and a couple terabyte normal HDD for all your data and games.
It goes so fast you'll never want to go back.

It depends on how many bricks you plan to be playing with at once. I regularly play with about 70k bricks loaded at once and max shaders gives me terrible FPS. I have an $1,100 ASUS ROG gaming laptop.
