Well he appeared in my laundry every day consistently for like 6 or 7 days, and as soon as I picked him up and put him in the enclosure, no more slugs appeared in my laundry. So I can pretty logically assume that it's the same one, unless all the other slugs became terrified of the laundry upon hearing the news of Slugger's capture

You probably should check the laundry's dryer exhaust vent and see if the grating is still in place. Hot, moist air blows out of it when you run it and it can attract insects or other organisms.

I think I'd be a little perturbed if I found slugs in my laundry

By "laundry" I actually just mean the room where the washing machine and dryer is located, not in the clothes themselves lol

It does get pretty damp in there though because my housemate has a tenancy to only put washing on at like 2AM when we can't really open the door so the steam just kinda fills up the room all night
