i think i like things from the 90s onwards
probably some stuff in the 80s too idk

im gonna go with 70s because like 80% of my favorite albums are from the 70s

a lot of what I listen to is between 50s - 60s, 80s and 10s
there's always exceptions though, and I can't say one decade in particular outshines the rest

Time period has everything to do with music. Music of the era is influenced by many, many cultural factors that change very often. Listening to music from any era is a window into that culture and that time, from the song writer's point of view.

I think the point he was making, subliminally, was that the time period has nothing to do with your taste in music. You could like an song from any genre from any time.
