Author Topic: What is the best decade of music?  (Read 5276 times)

early 1900s (ie ~1920s-1950) swing/big band and roots of r&b
50s and 60s rock 'n' roll (before Cream ruined everything) and motown
70s there was some good glam rock (t. rex,) as well as FUNK
70s and 80s gave us punk rock
the 90s gave us grunge and alternative and beck

i really couldn't name a single decade or era

oh I also seriously like Credence Clearwater Revival

best band from 60s - 70s imo

fortunate son is literally screaming, the other two are decent

"10s (aka my taste is stuff)"

I don't like a prominent genre from this decade so ALL of it is stuff!

fortunate son is literally screaming, the other two are decent
Fortunate Son is a protest song, kinda makes sense

oh protest songs~

Nothing screams "listen to me teens!" like a good story about fighting back and being not normal

fortunate son is literally screaming, the other two are decent
we must have different definitions of screaming because fortunate son is certainly not screaming
