Most of the good mods as they stand right now are unfinished and have lots of multiplayer bugs. I wouldn't recommend trying to play co-op modded Terraria unless the mod you'e using is 100% certified multiplayer bug free.

Ill just try like 1 or two big ones, like thorium and avalon.

was playing modded terraria with some friends before everyone just up and left
we were using thorium, alchemyNPC (I think), spirit mod, and calamity
most thorium stuff got btfo'd by calamity, but obviously they were made with different end game

and really the only bug I can remember was that we couldnt put most modded items into displays
