According to this, Spore is the most pirated game of 08, and most sites report because of the DRM.

Ironically, the DRM was so over the top in stopping piracy and yet there was a cracked version of spore out in less than 24 hours after the release.

Also included: some stuff about 'developers' (publishing companies) that don't want to produce for the PC anymore because of piracy.


I hope I don't get banned because of this post. It was just too funny.


You shouldn't get banned, its talking about how piracy effect EA, not how to download piracy etc.
Yeah it was pretty fun how much money they lost because of there "Bright Ideas".

The news post was posted last month. It is about the top pirated games of 2008. Before this was purely speculation, now there is proof.

The difference being that most things don't try that hard to be piracy free.
