If you say he is an emo, yes. If you said "There is an emo over  there.", then  it is a noun. Now if you look at the context jimmy is saying it in, you will find he is using it as a noun.

Yeah, so today, someone decided it had been too long since we had our last fire alarm, you know, two days ago, and they pulled it again. This time there was no reason. 3 kids hopped the fence and attempted to run home. They got caught.
