Basically any cross platform game gets a dent on it due to SOE being tightasses.

Not really. DLC is usually not released on PS3 because it requires re-coding, and no one wants to re-code an entire add-on when they can hit PC and XBox with only small changes, and with more DLC (Or games) that need to be worked on.

If it is any consolation, having to install and run Games for Windows LIVE, setup an account, and buy a whole bunch of useless points, and then install the DLC (which comes with it's own set of hardships) isn't a whole bunch of fun.

He's a robot. He can't tell a rock from a commie. you have to program him to not waste ammo on a rock and instead use it on something that looks like it's wearing something we call enclave armor

Pressing "Confirm Download" and playing a game while it downloads is way more fun.
