I played a long time ago. I got to here:

got past, reached the part where you navigate through the electric purple space cloud. Unfortunately, after wandering around trying to find the damn space buoys for a full hour, I quit out of frustration and could never make myself play again.

Why doesnt the installer work?
or is it like OpenTTD which actually requires the game to work

I dunno, Lemme see if there is are any alternate downloads around.

Anonymous tested this app under Windows Vista and rated this product 3 out of 5 points.

"Game runs fine, however, the installer does not start up. The only workaround I know of is to install the game from XP and copy it over to Vista.

Vista labels the installer as a "16-bit Setup Launcher" and I assume this to be the cause, though I thought 16-bit apps still worked in the x86 Vista."

I just found that if you need to run it in Windows 98 compatibility mode, then it works great! No problem with sound, joystick - anything!
