Author Topic: GTA: San Andreas PC Version mods {HELP}  (Read 634 times)

I downloaded some mods and what-not, but when I started up the game, it said that it "encountered a .exe error and must close down". Does anyone know what's wrong? Does anyone even have this game?

Bump. I need some help. Here's precisely what I downloaded (tell me if something I downloaded is making this game have an error, or if I need to download a certain thing):
  • SAMI (you download vehicles to this)
  • Saves
  • Wild Animals Pack (Bigfoot, Lochness Monster, etc...)

And that's it. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Mods are gay, i only use skins for the win.
srsly, rockstar haves the worst model/animations ever

I just wanted to download Bigfoot, but then I saw vehicles. But that's all I downloaded, and now the game won't work.

Move 1 to a seperate folder that isn't in your GTA IV folder and then try to boot it. If it still does not work, put that mod back in and do it with the other two. When it finally works, you know which mod is breaking it. Then just keep it out of your folder.

He said San Andreas. Are you blind?

You need to downgrade the .exe first, otherwise it won't work.
Rockstar was a friend and made everything above version 1.0 unmoddable.
Google search for a downgrade (should be named gta_sa.exe) and put it in the folder. You then use gta_sa.exe and you may or may not have to delete the upgraded gta-sa.exe.

You bought the steam version of it?
