Author Topic: My Parent's Aren't Going To Buy Me Any New Consoles For Christmas  (Read 4460 times)

If we assume that you're thirteen, and each game costs atleast 20$ (This is probably the absolute minimum in cost) then that means...

60 games * 20$ = 1200$
(Keep in mind that games do not cost 20$, most likely much more.)

I also assume you haven't been playing games since before you were...
Oh, let's say 9.

That's 300$ PER YEAR that you get in games.

But wait!
That's assuming that games cost 20$!
They do not.

60 games * 30$ = 1800$

450$ Every year.

Yep, you're spoiled.

EDIT: Oops! you're 12. even more spoiled.

The consoles I've owned and currently own:

In early and late 2009 I had a PS2
I've owned a Wii since last Christmas.
Had a Nintendo DS since March 6 (my birthday)

And I'm getting a PS3. So I'd have a Wii, a DS and PS3.

I buy all my own games and consoles, save up your money and buy it for yourself like everyone else does in this economy instead of whining because your parents don't want to spend that much money on you just for Christmas.

I'm not getting anything for Christmas.  Suck it.

OH HEY I'M 17! I GET 10 CARS BUT NOT SPOILED BECAUSE THE OLDER I AM THE MORE MY PARENTS SHOULD GIVE ME!

(I'm not really 17, it was just a example.)

Stop loving crying.

I think I've gotten about 10 games in my whole life time.
I'm not complaining.

Ok, I'm 15, I have a kinda working PS1 (still love it <3), A really old PS2 (most of my games for that don't work because PS2 is too old to read or game disks are to scratched up) and a Wii.  I have my MAC SCHOOL laptop (which disregarding the rules I DO intall some software, they can sue me if they get all pissy about it) and a PC without a hard drive (my Dad says he will get one for me eventually, I really don't care because I have a school laptop ;) ) And on my Wii I have like, maybe 13 games MAYBE.  Most of which I cannot find (curse my lack of the abality to fail to see things right in front of me) and I REALLY only play the GH 3, and 5.  I have some of the old N64 games on my virtual console (2 of them, each 10 dollars).  I do whenever I get money lately buy things on steam.  Get the Jedi Knight series, even if only one of the games!  Or how about DooM!  That game is like, 5 dollars on steam and it runs on ANYTHING.  Then go download Skulltag and use the doom.wad or doom2.wad (hopefully the later as it works better with Skulltag) and place tat in the same directory as Skulltag.exe.  Boot up and enjoy!  That should run on ANYTHING!  IT EVEN RUNS ON MAC!

If one of those 60 games is oblivion, I think that will be enough for a year or 2 (more if you have it for the pc, because of mods)

I hate you, just by that one post.

Wha... Why?

60 GAMES is going to keep you plenty loving occupied until you die.
/agree
That is...
UNTIL YOU GROW loving TIRED OF THEM
Seriously
Happens to me all the time.

Use your computer , it's just as good

seriously, do you all live boxes with $20 annual salaries or what. that seems normal.

This is why I have no consoles, and one good PC.

Game cost about 60 dollars.... 60*100 = 6000 ... But he says he has 60 games. 60*60 = 3,600.
