maybe if you have them fat keys on some cheap keyboard. but laptops and gamer keyboards will have flatter keys and it wouldnt work.

I'm pretty sure I use all of my fingers.
While I was typing this, I noticed I use all of my fingers except for my pinkys.

I kinda made my own way of typing cause the normal way didn't work well for me I get an average of 60 words per minute though :D I use

index fingers
thumbs - only for space
sometimes ring finger and pinky

Thumbs: backspace, shift
Pinky finger: QAZWSXPL,OKM
Ring finger: all other letters and space
Middle finger: letters
Miraculously i get 53wpm average

I also do this, and I press shift with my thumb.

I use seven. The whole left hand except for pinky,  the middle finger and pinky (For enter, shift and backspace) from my right hand and the occasional PÅÖÄ with the ring finger. Eurocigarette yo.
