Author Topic: Stats page @ Blockland.us  (Read 900 times)

I think a stats page, with a number of bought copies of Blockland and how many users from USA, America, United Kingdom, etc would be cool.

There is no way for anyone to do it properly without access to the authentication server.

Minecraft inspiration eh?
While this sounds nice, Blockland hasn't sold enough copies to really need to advertise the exact number.
Hows about it rises about every five hundred bought?

I guess it would be nice to see this tiny piece of information.

It wouldn't need a new page; that would be unnecessary boasting.
With how many users there are on Roblox and Lego Universe there are would put us at a weak spot.  It would simply be a marketing disadvantage for user count if put on it's own page.

However if there was a text that said:

Over (#) Mods Released!     -There would be alot more of a profit from that.

How do you count that?

There is an activity stats page.

Look at the very bottom of the forums tree screen where all the active members are on, there's a button thar.

Forums =/= Blockland

Check the RTB forums. Same thing is there. Or check the active users, rtb mod bot. Mod bot posts = add ons.

Not all of her posts are mods.

Not all of her posts are mods.
And not all mods are her posts.
There is no way to count the number of released add-ons.
There isn't even a clear definition of 'released' or 'add-on'.
(unless you'd could a folder with a blank description.txt and client.cs that just says "echo("Hi.");" an add-on)
