you all suck because you still didnt recommend monster hunter tri
its the only reason to have a wii
and it never lags because the monsters are client-sided i think

The tiny monsters are client-sided, the bosses aren't. It gets confusing sometimes when you are killing little monsters and so is everyone else and you see them all whacking at air.

a jaggi is standing behind me
then a guy is swinging at air 2 miles away
and the jaggi dies.

anyhow
that game is fun as stuff and there is hardly any lag.
there may be a small lag spike every 30 games or so

Also you can plug in your keyboard to your wii and just type to people like normal, you don't have to wiispeak or friend code. It does have a pretty odd word filter but it just astericks it out. It filters out "after" which gets annoying, "hey guys let's kill Jaggi ***** this boss."

you join a server like a normal multiplayer game, you walk to a gate, and select the room you want to join.
or you can search for a certain room like:
High rank, Specific Monster, Skilled Players only
or
Low rank, Gathering materials, Beginners welcome!
its pretty standard

Or Battalion Wars 2 which is loving awesome single player and multi. You can play with a random stranger too.
i wish i had wireless internet :(

Please type in your friend's 16-digit friend code and wait for his slow ass to put in yours. -Several games I've played have this feature separate from the Wii's friends.
That could be improved. I'll give you that much. But once that's done with, no problems onward. They probably just don't want people meeting others over the game.

Also no talking to strangers.

People complain about this, then complain about all the people whining and swearing on the other consoles. What the hell do you want?

The only game I tried to play online was SSBB but halfway through the battle I got disconnected :(
Ouch. I've never had a problem in a battle before, except the occasional lag spike.

Phantasy star does this too. I find it better, because your friend could prefer to solo a monster, while you're AoEing them.
