no the 3DS can play normal DS games,look it up on nintendo's site.

Does it alter them to be 3D or just regular?

Also, they better not do this. If they do I will be so pissed. I want the new Mario Kart and Animal crossing on my DS Lite. :c

The 3DS is a new handheld. Those games won't work on previous DS handhelds.

apparently you can't play 3ds for more than 30 mins without damaging your eyes
if they killed ds that would be loving stupid

It's actually healthy according to doctors.

I love the improvements from the DSi to 3DS more then those who came with the change from DS to DSi.
