Yes, because lets face it, there is no need to even use the word realistic with video games- FPS's in particular. Lets say you are getting deployed in another country, fighting for your land and your life. You have a family and kids to go back to home- but you cannot just back out of a lobby. Waiting on the plane/ship to get to that country- you cannot just quit the game before it loads. Or if you get shot or die, you cannot just ragequit in the middle.

You don't have the full weight of gear and a firearm in your hand, running through bullets being scared out of your mind in video games. You run out there, kill people, die, and then respawn later.

You do not face those emotions and all of your memories in video games. Until I have something major- such as my life- to risk in such a game, there is no fear at all. Hur dur fear of your K/D going down DURP

You do not feel your foot hit the accelerator in a humvee or feel your chest get pounded with a shockwave from the IED you just ran the forget over and possible the shrapnel that can render you paralyzed for the rest of your life or just end your life that simply.

While that might give some people a boost in adrenaline, it doesn't come close to what a real-life war scenario would bring about if you were in the heat of battle.

of course, being in a real life OH stuff IF ONE TINY PEICE OF LEAD HITS ME, IM GOING TO DIE when in a game its OH stuff IF A PIXEL HITS ME ILL GET JELLY ON MY SCREEN AND IF 2-4 MORE HIT ME ILL DIE, O WELL DROP SHOT!!!!!!!!!

The majority of the time I would always have a great game or atleast a reasonably good one. But then I get these times were I just can't play it and so completely stuff.

I suck completely, well, I THOUGHT I did. I didn't kill very many people, but then I thought of my internet connection and said "it most likely is me lagging". So, one time there was a power outage and we went to a hotel for a few days until it was back on, I played Black Ops for the first time with no lag....I destroyed everyone, and now I know my reason for sucking was correct :D

I'm better than everyone at everything, now you know how I feel all day every day.

i complain about call of duty being unrealistic because everyone totes it as ~*realistic*~ and it's not. red orchestra is the most realistic game i've seen ever
Why did you start this? Not once did I ever or ANYONE state the game was "realistic".
Aboslutely no game out there is realistic. Not even close.
