Author Topic: Any way to run Terraria and maybe Steam on a powerpc mac?  (Read 5352 times)

Im confused. What exactly are you asking for?
Do you want to play Terraria on your mac? If so, use this, http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/terraria-mac-wrapper.15236/
He wants to run it on a PowerPC Mac, a Mac that uses a PowerPC processor and not an Intel CPU.

I highly doubt you could do anything with a PowerPC processor these days.  They all require Intel-powered Macs at least.

Oh, okay. Thanks, now I know the difference :D

I'm pretty sure the processor on this mac is at least 1.5ghz dual, the system requirements being 1.6 ghz. I know that age counts as well, but if a netbook can run it, so can a mac (probably, I think).

Is there anything like mono but for XNA?

XNA is a library. And there was started a project called Mono.XNA but I'm pretty sure it's abandoned.

Also, it's not about the speed, it's the instruction set.

I still want to try. D:
And yes I know about that project, is there anything else or am I screwed?

I think you're pretty much screwed. But I'm not the most knowledgeable about Macs.
