That doesn't make any sense.
You don't just get to make up your own standards.
It is not a 6th grade standard. You don't learn it in school. And if you do, you don't go to a public school.
Point is, if you go home and learn about it, you can't say it's from fifth grade, because it isn't part of the school.

But in fifth grade I sat down in elementary school and did graphical word problems like these.
In my elementary school, some people (like me woot) start multiplication in first grade instead of third grade.
Sometimes when I am talking to people about their classes, I find out that they didn't even realize there are people their same grade doing classes 2 or 3 years ahead of them. Out of 900 students in my grade, only about 40 are at my level.
It's probably also because my school district is really damn good
