Author Topic: Energy Drinks: How Bad Are They, Really?  (Read 4572 times)

I usually don't drink energy drinks.
But when I do, I prefer Powerthirst.

And I hate people thinking they are cool because they drink energy drinks.

And especially when they just drink it to wash down their lunch...

I enjoy an occasional Monster, but it still is really bad for you. It's about 95% artificial chemicals, and 5% water.
Your body can't process artificial chemicals.
An energy drink is about 80% carbonated water, the rest is sugar, usually guarana, taurine and various vitamins.

People pretend to be hyper a lot :(

School says I can't have a monster because the caffine could kill me. And I don't know if my parents beleive that.
Tell them they're morons. You need to drink A LOT of energy drinks before they kill you. Some dude died because he ate two tablespoons of pure caffeine IIRC.

Pop is pretty bad for you too. There is a reason why it burns your mouth when you drink it, no matter how many times you drink it.

I should probably drink less pop.

its not "burning" going on in your mouth when you drink soda. thats the bubbles popping. and they have more effect when its colder.

jesus christ this new gen of kids are dumb. lol
