Author Topic: Energy Drinks: How Bad Are They, Really?  (Read 4576 times)

Long story short, mother refuses to let me even take a sip of a Red Bull because she says it is insanely unhealthy etc. etc.

So I go to you guys, because you are the best doctors money can't buy.

I almost got drunk off red bull a few days ago, it wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done

I wish I could drink Energy Drinks. Everytime I go to buy one, my mom says, "It will stunt your growth!"

Im 6'2"
forget off.

Red Bull has no alcohol content.

12 teaspoons of sugar, some other stuff.

Energy drinks are terrible for you. But everything else you probably do would also be equally bad. Like, I do not know, how much fast food do you eat?

she says it is insanely unhealthy
it is

Don't drink unhealthy stuff

I have had one every day, at least one a day, for a long time.
No real change/problem here.

I get tacos from Jack in the Box fairly regularly, with nothing but meat and cheese. Probably not too healthy, but certainly better than those greasy turds they sell at McDonald's.

It's a bit ironic when comparing adult beverages to drinks teens enjoy today.

Red Bull has no alcohol content.
It does if you have handicapped friends who put some in with out you knowing then you basically chug it.
Plus it has a lot of sugar...I get hyper very easily

Pretty much any fast food is unhealthy. I have actually seen how they prepare food at Burger King, do you know what they do? They take a burger out of the freezer, put it on a conveyer belt, heat it up and in thirty seconds you have instant meat.

Nothing unless you only have 1.

drinking 2 is bad.
very bad.
drinking 1 can is fine.
very fine.

my mother still doesn't want me to drink them so much

Unless it's a vegetable, it's not healthy.  :cookieMonster:

The popular ones have an average of 60g of sugar, thats a forgetload.
