Sure, but to everyone else? The amount of bullstuff and bullying...
It'd be so un-fair for the kid it isn't funny.
It'd be unfair to the kid? Because the kid now has two loving parents, despite loveuality, instead of being stuck in an orphanage or foster home? And how exactly are they going to be bullied anyway? How the hell would you even know? It's not like schools tell kids exactly who each other's parents are. The only way you'd find out is through going to the kid's house, which would usually mean you like the kid, which usually would mean you'd be tolerating of him and his parents.
And for another matter, why is it we have to deny something because other people can't get past their prejudices? Why not instead worry about stopping them from bullying. Why blame the victim? Blame the bully. We need to stop having ministers and pastors and preachers saying things like: "homoloveuality is a sin and they all should be damned to hell for it!" They're evoking anger. There's another thing a lot of Christian's who are for gay marriage say, it's "hate the sin, not the sinner." Fine, you don't like homoloveuality, don't hate them because they made a different life choice than you (not saying it's a choice, mind you, I mean they chose not to believe in the same God as you or whatever and "gave in" to their sin. I don't believe it like that, but whatever). Christianity teaches love and acceptance of fellow man. Even sinners- love thy enemy.
People need to stop gay bashing in the media so we can stop it from spreading to the communities. Children will only bully other children about this because their parents told them to. And how that makes straight parents any better for it, I'll never know.
