If people ask for the save, just say "no". It's as easy as that. I've never seen a "riot" over .bls-files.
 The only way you can prevent people from stealing your builds is by not hosting at all. And where's the fun in that?

Well, then make it so the save request only gives data for that person's bricks and the bricks of whoever they trust.
Besides, who's going to be building when there's an awesome space ship to explore?

Actually there could be a way to at least prevent the average blocklander from saving bricks In your server. If you were to some how rescript your bricks to which they were significant to your server only than even though people could save the bricks they would not be able to reload them in there own server. And if you don’t understand what I'm saying, I'm basically saying that if I build something in my server with a brick pack that you don’t have than you can not reload the bricks in your own server if you don’t have the bricks. So if I rescript my bricks to which they are, in a way, different bricks from what they originally were than you would not be able to load them in your server because you would not have the same bricks in your server, and would not be able to find them online because they are on my computer only. (or who knows maybe I could be wrong)

This is impossible, and Badspot will deactivate anyone who decides to make an addon that does make it somehow possible.

I don't like build stealing either, that's why I post my crap in Gallery, copy the link, validate any other thief who decides to take my build, and if they want to ban me, I can take pics of chat.

It's complicated, yes, but it's just one of those things that just bites us in the ass and screams at us to deal with it.

I understand what you're saying.
I was talking to kevune about the basis of it.

Make a custom brickpack that uses all the bricks for a build that nobody else has.

Possible, but tedious. Probably not worth the effort and possibility of screwing up your game.

Then don’t rescript. Make a new brick pack. I plan on doing it my self, and if you don’t know how to make a brick pack, make some good friends and maybe they will be willing to do it for you.

if you have it on the gallery, people can't steal it because you have proof that you made it. you can also hide your names in builds. and if people try to host it on their server, just ignore it.

No. It will not happen anytime soon because it cannot happen. It is impossible. This has been suggested at least once a month for the past few years. And every single loving time the answer is the same.

Duhhh... how about how you can't access the admin menu without admin, you cant access the save menu without admin?

Then don’t rescript. Make a new brick pack. I plan on doing it my self, and if you don’t know how to make a brick pack, make some good friends and maybe they will be willing to do it for you.

New brick packs -> lots of downloads for new players -> less people on your server cause they don't want to download 100+ files
