How about making the texure not take up the whole 1x1 space and just have it in the middle? I've done it myself and it looks really good, only thing is i kind of rushed it and i made some new white lines.

I have my own that I made. They do the same thing as Squiddey's, except mine look more default and don't make colors look darker.
They also don't glow.

I just use Manty's. Pretty sure they're exactly the same as the default, without the white lines, and they are a bit sharper since he went over them in Photoshop or something.
