Author Topic: Rain that doesn't go through bricks.  (Read 3456 times)

I wanna see this happen, but I run blockland on a toaster.

That is, if you consider a 'toaster' to equate to a BRAND SPANKIN NEW LAPTOP!
Honestly, I lag so much as it is. It's pathetic.

Back to the point, wrong about the arrows, someone crashed a server I was on using a rapid fire mod with Ice Magic and some lego laser gun.

I wish there were a way for rain particles to interact with bricks.

They interact with terrain and interiors but not bricks.

Yep, maybe it's because particles are so often spawned from bricks that interaction would screw over brick emitters? *shrug*

Nope?

It's actually because the brick format isn't made for Torque, which is the same reason why they don't have shadows... yet.

Can I just have it as a private add-on.
no. I do not think you should have it over anyone else. That aint fair

We are all sick of the loving rain.

Make each projectile have multiple raindrops in it, like the mech rockets that revolve in a double helix.

That's what I thought but it may still lag.

You'll lag to death with projectile rain.

wait elevator brick will be gone? forget

Good because people use it to collide through bricks or interiors.

never thought of doing that and if i wanted to get in flying carpet go up high slam into ground your in

um

when was the last time an engine change in retail broke add-ons

unless you mean CHANGING ENGINES, in that case of course you're right

but when i hear 'engine change' i think a change in the engine's code

and you said 'all add-ons lost because they use .dts', that gives the implication that all add-ons use .dts files
Ah.
Actually I was thinking that you guys mean changing engines

While they're at it (giving bricks shadows and such) maybe they'll go and make things able to rotate vertically? I can't tell you how many times I've wanted a plate on a wall.
