Lords of Uberdark is Minecraft with a smooth mesh-like world, yet the developer still refers to it as voxels so I guess it may be related. It's still at a very easly stages, but it has basic crafting, monsters, woodcutting, massive worlds, fluid physics, and all the good stuff for a mining game.

It doesn't have an official release, or release date yet, but it works like Minecraft. If you donate, you get the game in every version, even beta/alpha.

this game is so damn fun.

Even though I made a thread on it, I haven't actually played since like 0.01 or whatever when it was still on the little tiny islands.

it reminds me a lot of when i started minecraft, basically now knowing what i was doing and everything was fresh and new.
