Author Topic: How do I set up a Sven Co-op server using Hamachi? (Read 17063 times)

I want to play Sven Co-op with a friend, but my server won't work. We're on the same Hamachi network, I've tried it with both sv_lan on and off, and I've port forwarded. I know there's a guide, but it doesn't cover listen servers and is too confusing.

Answer: don't use Hamachi.
It's a ridiculous replacement for Port Forwarding which is actually quite a bit easier.

It appears to be the only available solution. I've forwarded

UDP 1200
UDP 27000 – 27015
TCP 27030 – 27039

Nothing works.

I'm going to assume you already have a hamachi network

All I've ever had to was was pick a map, start the server and anyone that wants to join types connect and the IP into the console. For example "connect 5.154.152.15"

Yes just start hamachi and connect to the same room, Then the host gives their hamachi ip to the client and he uses that to connect.
