how exactly, is the current minecraft bad?
mojang is still adding updates and more stuff to it, and that will probably happen until everybody stops buying/playing minecraft, which at the looks of it (6,000,000+ people) probably won't happen for awhile.
it's a string bad ideas strewn about a web of poorly optimized code weaved by an amateur developer.
Notch seems like a good guy but he bit off more then he could chew.
