If you want shadows you gotta get rid of maps yo.

If you want shadows you gotta get rid of maps yo.

Well first you have to be the Lord of Shadows and take over Blockland from Badspot.
But that totally won't happen.

actually v21 is going to influence the storyline a bit

Continue up the stairs on the left side of the middle building

You come across 4 Viper gangsters. They do not look happy to see you.
COMBAT INITATED!

Combat system works like this:
You say a number 1-12 and an attack/defend command (eg "5 for Shoot at enemies" or "8 for Bullet Deflection") and a squadmate will perform that attack.

I will then roll dice and the number on them will alter the command, the closer to the number the dice number is, the better the move is performed. The father away, the worse it is. If it lands on the exact number, the move is guarenteed to work without any flaws.
If the dice roll a number 4+ numbers away from the command number, the move fails.
If it is on the complete opposite side as the number rolled (roll 2 and get 12) then one of the squadmates will die suffer a large blow.

Numbers 1, 2, 11 and 12 are twice as successful as 3-10, but have a higher chance of failing, and even though you might not fail the command, if you do not get the exact number the command will not be better.

Certain squad members have different attacks, however. For example, Antiar can use sonic blasts, and Pentyl can rapidly swing his sword to deflect + cut up bullets. I will not post these attack as I'm too lazy to come up with witty names and stuff so you guys may suggest the special attacks for the squad so long as they're (1) Not from Mortal Kombat, (2) Not overpowered, (3) Able for that squad member to use (eg Umiak cannot use Antiar's sonic blast but can use his Visor Glow which snow-blinds enemies in a certain radius).

Basic attacks:
Shoot (in the general direction or specific enemy)
Slice (Pentyl will forget up somebody's day)
Stab (All commandos have arm-mounted blades that can be ejected into somebody's rib cavity with ease)
Stun (Bludgeon an enemy to make them lose a turn)

Basic defensive moves:
Deflect (Personal shield power is boosted to deflect incoming projectiles)
Block (Blocks most incomming attacks. Always successful but eliminates a turn)
Dodge (Squadmate moves out of the way to avoid an attack)

I hope this isn't confusing. I'm rather tired and want to finish this.
I'm also going to do only 1 update a day, size varying depending on how bored/tired I am. I feel more relaxed when I'm not pressured to do an update as soon as somebody commands, and a relaxed Alteration is a productive Alteration.

Holy stuff I just read SirLancelot7's post again and realised he said left. ._.
Gah. I'm sorry. ;-; We'll go left next.
